Welcome to The Cedar House TX, an outdoor homeschool tutorial located in Greenville, TX for ages 5-18 (K-12).
At The Cedar House TX, we believe that each child is designed by God with a specific bent. It is our desire to help children discover their gifts and abilities given by God for His plans and purposes, and encourage them to use them! We believe learning takes place when minds and hearts are excited and interested, so we endeavor to engage students through time outside creating, exploring, building, reading, painting, and working together. Our hope is that as parents (and students!) begin to think differently about education, they will re-evaluate the perpetuated design of “school” being one in which children are sitting in hard school desks, repeating facts, working in age-segregated groups filling in worksheets, and to ask if there is a better way to encourage and inspire a love of learning!
